Future of Tobacco Control Consultation - September 2008
At its Annual Meeting on 27 June, Association members agreed that the Association create a regional response to the consultation, encourage all local authorities in the North East to submit responses individually and, where appropriate, to promote it amongst staff, partner organisations and members of the public.
The response has been prepared over recent weeks in consultation with Fresh North East and Environmental Health and other officers across the region. This process has also included views from HM Revenue and Customs and Police Authorities through Fresh North East's processes. It was submitted to the Department of Health on the 8th September deadline.
